Brink’s Company Q2 Results Top Estimates

The Brink’s Company shares were up over 3% pre-market Wednesday after the company reported Q2 adjusted earnings of $0.64 per diluted share compared with an income of $0.39 per share a year ago, beating the $0.46 average EPS estimate from analysts polled by Capital IQ. Total revenue surged $806 million from $740 million a year ago, coming in above the $730.9 million consensus.

Raising its full-year 2017 guidance for both earnings and sales, the company said revenue will come in at $3.27 billion, which is above the average analyst estimate of $3.06 billion. Earlier, the company had guided toward $3.09 billion in sales. Adjusted EPS is now expected at between $2.95 and $3.05, which is also above the Street’s forecast of $2.67 and compares with the company’s previous guidance of $2.55 – $2.65.
