European ADRs Edge Lower

American depository receipts of European stocks were 0.4% lower at 121.79 on the Bank of New York Mellon Europe ADR Index on Monday morning. Decliners in Continental Europe were led by Forward Pharma (FWP), a Danish biopharmaceutical company, down by 2.6%, Talend (TLND), a provider of open source integration solutions, 2.4% lower and financial services provider Credit Suisse (CS), down by 2.3%.

In the UK, Midatech (MTP), an early-stage biopharmaceutical company, was 3.2% lower, followed by Amec Foster Wheeler (AMFW), a global engineering conglomerate, down by 2.4% and oil and gas production company BP (BP), trading 1.1% lower. Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) and Lloyds Banking Group (LYG) were 1.1% and 0.9% lower, respectively.

Gainers in Continental Europe were led by Cellectis (CLLS), a French genome engineering company, 3.5% higher, followed by Natuzzi (NTZ), an Italian furniture manufacturer, up by 2.4% and Sequans Communications (SQNS), a French developer of chipset solutions, 1.3% higher. Materialise (MTLS), a Belgian provider of 3D printing software and services, was up by 0.9%.
